Hyaluronic acid
It is a highly purified, effective cosmetic ingredient widely used in skin and hair care products due to its high water-attracting and retention capacity. Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide naturally occurring in the skin and is used cosmetically to improve the appearance of hydration, plumpness, and smoothness.
In cosmetic applications, hyaluronic acid works through a surface-based mechanism that forms a moisturizing layer, helping to reduce moisture loss and improve skin texture without penetrating or making therapeutic claims. The powder is available in different molecular weights (high, medium, and low), allowing for great flexibility in designing the sensory experience and performance of the final product.
